Our Vision

Trust Tree is a nonprofit organization working to uplift girls and gender-expansive youth in Central Arkansas through music and art.

In every aspect of our songwriting, music, and art programs, we aim to create a space where our campers feel respected and validated. Trust Tree programs are facilitated by a team of women artists and musicians with the goal of bringing creative visions to life and overcoming self-limiting beliefs.

Trust Tree was founded in 2017 by musician and arts educator Correne Spero in her living room and we are so grateful to the family of supporters that has allowed us to grow to where we are today.

It has always been central to Trust Tree’s mission to ensure our programs are accessible to all, regardless of financial status. Trust Tree awards financial aid and scholarships to an average of 60% of our program participants who represent Central Arkansas’ diverse cultural landscape.

We love serving the families in our community and we thank you for joining us on our journey!

Our Team

Trust Tree is led by a team of women artists, musicians, and educators with decades of collective experience creating, performing, recording and teaching music and visual art.

With support from an amazing roster of guest artists - women who are integral to Arkansas’ music and art community - we continue to expand the depth and breadth of our programming each year.
